The 61st Annual Grammy Awards kicked off with a bang. Now, some of the results are out. Let’s see who our big winners are!

The hit song “Shallow” by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper was one of the big winners of the night. The song has bagged both “Best Pop Duo/Group Performance” as well as “Best Song Written for Visual Media.

The song has been bagging award after award since premiering in the hit movie remake “A Star is Born.” The movie features a rugged country artist roped into a tragic love story with an upcoming and rising star.

Americana

Brandi Carlile is also reaping all the accolades for this awards season with her smash hit album “By the Way, I Forgive You.” Carlile’s sixth studio album has been regarded as one of her best yet. It has garnered attention in the Americana world. But, winning the Grammy for ‘Best Americana Album” is her biggest yet.

Traditional Pop

Willie Nelson is a pleasant surprise in this list with his album “My Way.” One can never really expect monotony from the Outlaw. “My Way” is the sixty-eighth studio album from Nelson, and needless to say, he wanted to cement himself as an artist of versatility. The album was made as a tribute to Frank Sinatra. We already got a taste of his knack for jazz with his duet with Tony Bennet. Now, we have a full Grammy Award-winning album to drink in.

Gospel

It was never a secret that Tori Kelly’s “Hiding Place” has lived up to its name. The album evokes a certain kind of spiritual peace whenever it echoes on the radio or in the quietness of an empty room. Which is why it’s not a surprise that it bagged the Grammy Award for Best Gospel Album. It continues to bring inspiration. And it deserves the recognition it got.

Bluegrass

The Travelin’ McCourys have been making a big splash in the Bluegrass scene. And in 2019, they took home their first-ever Grammy for Best Bluegrass Album. It is in honor of their eponymous album. The six-member band is composed of Ronnie McCoury, Rob McCoury, Alan Bartram, Jason Carter, and Cody Kilby.

The Grammy Awards have yet to wrap up, and the biggest winners of the night are still a secret! Stay tuned for updates!
